Kurt is a highly experienced Drug Hunter and Medicinal Chemist with over 20 years’ experience leading drug discovery teams to deliver 9 molecules into human trials, and almost 10 years’ experience in BD / External Innovation roles. Kurt is a Senior Director in the J&J Innovative Medicines External Innovation team supporting the Discovery and Development organisation where his role involves working with Entrepreneurs and Innovators to identify future collaboration opportunities, aligned with J&J’s strategic focus, to bring forward innovative new therapies to transform human health. Kurt is an author on >40 peer-reviewed publications and an inventor on ~40 patents.
