Dr. Cara Ferreira, PhD, MBA is currently the CEO of Lumina Pharmaceuticals a clinical-stage radiopharmaceutical company distinguished by its innovative technology targeting novel biomarkers to treat cancer. Most recently she was an executive at Fusion Pharmaceuticals a clinical stage company focused on targeted alpha therapy which was acquired by AstraZeneca in June 2024. Previously, Cara was an Associate Partner at McKinsey & Company, where she led strategy consulting for global pharmaceutical clients. Dr. Ferreira has been active in the radiopharmaceutical space for 25+ years and has held leadership roles in the Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging.
