Beyond Tumour Uptake: Building the Right In Vivo Models for Radiopharmaceutical Translation

• Understanding why target expression and tumour uptake alone are insufficient to predict radiopharmaceutical efficacy, toxicity and clinical success  
• Exploring how tumour biology, heterogeneity, target accessibility and tumour microenvironment influence radiopharmaceutical distribution and, critically, the absorbed dose delivered to tumour and healthy organs  
• Identifying the characteristics of fit-for-purpose in vivo models that enable integrated assessment of biodistribution, dosimetry, imaging, radiobiological response and therapeutic window, strengthening candidate selection and confidence in clinical translation
